EAGLE LAKE — At the Jan. 25 meeting of the Eagle Lake Noon Lions Club, secretary Charles Abel recognized the volunteers who give their time and talents to serve the community at the two Eagle Lake Ministerial Alliance Food Pantries.
The Food Pantry located at the First Baptist Church of Eagle Lake serves families who live in the Rice Consolidated Independent School District area two different Mondays each month, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
The First United Methodist Church of Eagle Lake hosts the Food Pantry one Monday each month, serving families who live in Colorado County.
