The Columbus High School girl’s basketball team has been surging as they’ve now reached 20 wins on the season under head coach Mike Albers. After reaching the state tournament last year, this team looks to head to the Almadome for the sec- ond year in a row as they are finding their rhythm at the right time.

The Lady Cardinals have great role players and are well-coached. They also have shooters such as Karlee Mathis, who can also drive to the rim, but is known for her shooting. Columbus is looking more and more like the dominant team they were last year as the season rolls on.
