Columbus boy's soccer boasts winning record

The Cardinals boy’s soccer team of Columbus High School is off to a nice start as they currently have six wins and four losses before heading into the month of February, also adding an undefeated record of 2-0 in district play. They took down Hallettsville High School by a final score of 2-0 last Thursday, then demolished Palacios High School with a 7-0 tally the following Friday.

Columbus is led by head coach Matthew Eder and have key players such as Marco Rubio and Tomas Elias, who were each able to net goals in those two games. Columbus is known for having good coaching and good athletes in general, so it’s no surprise that boy’s soccer is on the winning side of things.
