The Flatonia High School boy’s basketball team has impressed this season after graduating a ton of seniors last year, which included almost their entire starting lineup. Head coach Chris Sodek provides pressure on defense and a fast-paced tempo on offense to result in easy scoring most of the time. Flatonia’s game is forcing turnovers to create fast-breaks, leading to easy points.
Key players for Flatonia are Keegan Green, Kenyon Guyton, Kobe Burton, and Kade Giese, although the Bulldogs have a solid roster all together. They also possess shooters such as Duke Sodek, who’s one of the best shooters in the area. After figur ing things out early, Flatonia very well may go on another playoff bout and sniff a second-straight shot at the state tournament.
