The Sealy High School softball team has gotten off to a great start as they surged to a 2-0 record February 15 with a 10-0 win against Jersey Village. Key performers were Jade Barton and Hannah Diemer, who each had two hits. Other big time performers were Jaylyn Packebush and Blair Kram with two RBI’s each, along with Caylee Syzdek, Katie Eder, and Avery Grigar, who all had one RBI each.
The Lady Tigers are led by head coach Brittney Whitehead and seem to have all the pieces to the puzzle: hitting, pitching, de- fense, and chemistry. Sealy defi nitely looks like a team that can make a long haul come May and even possibly June. This team already knows how to win and win in dominating fashion.
