SEALY - Spring is in the air in February. Gardeners are itching to scratch in some dirt and plant a garden, but that may not be the best idea as of now. Warm weather in February doesn't mean planting season is in full bloom.
This is the time to take in information such as was given on Feb. 23 at the Sealy Small Farm and Vegetable Conference held at the American Legion Hall in Sealy. Topics were about all those things gardeners talk about with questions and answers peppered into each topic.
Lean on the hoe a little longer, get out the seed catalogs, and do a little planning and research. The event was organzied by the Horticulture Committee of Austin County.
