The Fayetteville High School boy's basketball team has earned their spot to the big dance as they have qualified for the UIL State Basketball Tournament at the Alamodome in San Antonio. The Lions recently beat Wells High School by a final score of 73-59 in order to get there. Fayetteville is led by second-year head coach Jake Diggs, who's had great suc - cess ever since he stepped foot
at Fayetteville. The Lions have great depth with guard play and scoring down low.
This team has their system and is super efficient with ball distri -
bution, scoring, play calling, post game, and smart decision mak ing. Fayetteville has a great shot to not only win in the semifinals, but win the entire state champi - onship. They've been dominant all year long as well as showing poise throughout the season and these attributes will certainly be tested on the biggest stage.
