INDUSTRY - The Beef & Forage Committee of Aus tin County, in partnership with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Austin County, will host a Beef Cattle Management Seminar on Friday, March 22, at Four County Auction Center located at 15900 TX HWY 159 in Industry. Program registration will begin at 12:30 p.m., with presentations from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
Information to be covered includes Reading Landscape- Rangeland Management 101, Optimizing Your Profit on Your Herd by Controlling External Parasites and other methods,and Vulture Management. Presenters include Dr. Stacy Hines with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Dr. Joe Pascal, and Stacie Villarreal. At the program, three CEU hours (one IPM and two GEN) will be awarded.
