MOULTON - St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Moulton will host an Easter Picnic, Sunday, March 31 at the St. Joseph's So cial Center in Moulton.
The Easter picnic has been a Moulton tradition.
The day begins with Mass at 10 a.m. in the church followed by the blessing of Easter baskets and an Easter egg hunt for the children.
Beginning at 10:30 a.m., the famous Moulton fried chicken dinner will be served at $14 a plate. Plates to go and fried chicken to go will also be available. Shuttle service from the church parking lot to and from the Social Center will be provided.
Activities inside the Social Center will include a cake walk and Bingo. Beginning at 1 p.m., there will be a live auction featuring quilts, wood- and metal- crafted items, plants, antiques, and more.
Music will be provided by the Ken Brothers from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and The Fender Bender Band from 1:30 to 6 p.m.
Other outdoor fun will include a country store, a plant walk, ball throw and other games.
Plenty of refreshments, sno- cones, popcorn and hamburgers will be on hand all afternoon.
