LA GRANGE — The Fayette County Country Music Club will host their monthly opry on Monday, March 18 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in La Grange. The show starts at 7 p.m. and the doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $8. Steven Kidwell started his music career at an early age. He was eight when he stepped on his first professional stage, with his mentor and superstar, Charlie Daniels. Kidwell has written, composed, and recorded three albums, his fourth and latest album, “Memories And Milestones,” has been hailed as one of the best albums to come out of Nashville in the last 10 years.
In addition, he has won five Gold and five Platinum Disc Awards in the past three years.
Harmony Brook is 14 years old and is the fourth generation in a family of performers, starting with her great-grandfather Martin Helton. She has been singing since the age of nine and made her solo debut at the Farm Street Opry, at the age of 12.
Victor Rodriguez has lived in Flatonia most of his life. He started entertaining people with DJ Music and karaoke in 1998.
He picked up his first guitar in 2006. His love for good ole country music just keeps on growing.
Rodriguez considers it a good performance if he keeps his au- dience on the dance floor all night. While singing tunes by Merle Haggard, Brooks & Dunn, Johnny Rodriguez, and many other great artists. One of his most rewarding performances is when he has the opportunity to sing in church. He considers his talent a gift from God and what a blessing it is to share it with others.
