BELLVILLE—Over 350 cars cruised into downtown Bellville on March 9, and it was a candy store for car enthusiasts during the Classic Car Stampede. It was muscle, muscle, and more muscle as throngs of crowds salivated over the raw power and beauty of cars from days gone by.
It was easy to find the car one had when they were younger, except on steroids as motors gleamed in the sunlight on a sunny day.
The Austin County Cruisers put on the annual event, which started earnestly in 2004 in a parking lot and has since grown to cover downtown, several side streets and the park. The annual car show with cars of any motorhead’s dreams is held each year on the second Saturday of March.
