HOUSTON — Fayette County 4-H members competed March 11 in the Houston Livestock Show Judging Contest in Houston.
Team Maroon was the Reserve Champion Junior Team. Team members included Tatum Fritsch, Abraham McBride, Kaisley Janecka and Kullen Kutac. Individually, Tatum placed 10th and won a Scramble ___________ ___ _________ ___ _______ to exhibit at the 2025 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
Team Green placed 13th overall.
The team members were Sawyer Mau, Tate Fritsch, Adalyn Carrales and Addison Berckenhoff.
Team White placed 15th overall. The team members consisted of Holden Holub, Laramie Laake, Alexis Berckenhoff and Julia Melton.
Junior Team Blue placed 26th overall. The team members were Paige Carruthers, Dylan Zweschper, Kinley Kutac, and Rilan Karisch.
Junior Team Yellow placed 49th

Judging as an individual in the Junior Division were Avah Noriega and Meredith Carruthers.
There were 90 Junior 4-H Teams and 382 individual Junior 4-H competitors.
The Senior Green Team placed 20th overall. Team members consisted of Railey Nieto, Cooper Mau, Peyton Gilchrest and Tori Newton.
The Senior White Team placed 40th overall. The team members were Harper Mau, Kaylee Hensley, Rheagan Karisch and Brealey Nieto. Judging as an individual was Logan Poncik.
