Cougarettes softball has been hanging afloat with good, young
talent and solid coaching as they've found ways to knock runs in and hold teams to a minimal
amount of runs, leading to wins and reasonable quest for a win ning season and a possible bid to the playoffs. Brazos is poised, has leadership, and simply knows how to win games with getting it done on both sides of the ball. It's not flashy, but it's enough to win
and that’s all that matters at the end of the day when the objective is to score more runs than the op- ponent at hand.
This team knows what it’s like to win and has the right coaching and personnel in order to succeed and make a name for themselves past the regular season. The Cou garettes could very well be seen as a team that wins in the play- offs and has all the tools neces -
sary in order to do so.
