The Bellville High School baseball team is figuring things out and now has a winning record in district to go along with two huge wins against Royal and Wharton High Schools. The Brahamas manhandled Royal by a final score of 18-0 and beat down Wharton with a score of 12-2.
Bellville has coaching, depth, hitting, defense, and knows how to win as they’ve been in state tournament contention in recent years.
They also know what it’s like to send players to the pros as long-time MLB veteran and Bellville baseball alum Lucas Luetge recently signed a deal with the Boston Red Sox and spent time with the New York Yankees and Atlanta Braves for the past cou ple years. This is only a small ex- ample of Bellville’s powerhouse they have brewing on the baseball side of things and it seems they are on a nice roll.
