Bellville track runners Deniah and Danika Runnels both finished first in their respective events at the Archie Seals Relays meet last week, which was held at their home field in Bellville at Brahmas Stadium. Deniah finished first in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.69 and Danika placed first in the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.57.
Bellville is good at a bunch of sports and track is one of them.
Both Bellville and Sealy competed in this meet and had athletes place highly in a number of events.
The expectation is for these two schools to compete at a high level and even make a trip to University of Texas for state track as they’ve been in a similar position many times before.
