FAYETTEVILLE — Downtown Fayetteville filled its streets with vehicles of the past, modified past and a few more recent machines.
Over 120 entrants of classics converged on Fayetteville on March 30 to see and be seen.
Vintage vehicles took many back to the time of free-wheeling and cruising the highways and backroads while more souped-up models got the adrenaline rushing and imagination of what one could do with their models.
A current model, a Corvette owned by Thomas Hernandez of Columbus, looks like a futuristic car that could fly, and gathering by the mph's on the speed - ometer, it could.
There were vehicles of American made and European made and each one was owned and restored by a proud owner.
The Fayetteville Lions Club hosted this annual classic car event, and it was a time machine dream.
