BELLVILLE — Who is ready for a fundraising event that directly supports the educational efforts of Austin County’s youth? The Austin County 4-H Livestock Project Group (LPG) is hosting its first ever annual "Que for the Kids" BBQ Cook-Off on
May 3-4.
'Que for the Kids is open to both adults and youth. The cookoff for adult teams will span across Friday and Saturday, and the kid's competition will be held on Saturday only. Complete contest rules and registration forms are available at: https://austin. agrilife.org/event/que-for-thekids/.
In addition to the cook-off, a full day of family-friendly activities will be held at the Austin County Fairgrounds in Bellville beginning at 9 a.m. until approx imately 5 p.m., including a bake
sale, car show, gun raffle, silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and so
much more.
There will truly be something for everyone!
The Austin County Livestock Project Group is a 501C-3 non-profit that supports the youth of Austin County. in many ways, including covering fees associated with Austin County 4-H’s participation in all livestock-based judging contests, skill-a-thons, and quiz bowl competitions and other 4-H events.
