SCHULENBURG — The Schulenburg Sausage Fest, held April 6 in Schulenburg had everyone from everywhere coming into town to catch up on the latest and watch some great competitions.
The 5K run followed the opening ceremonies, food and drink, arts and crafts, street dancing and competition events. The music kept the crowds in a festive mood with the likes of The Czechaholics, Mark Halata and Texavia, Darrel Appelt, and shutting down the night with Broken Alibi.
During the day, the hog-calling contest and the sausage toss were fun.
