The Brazos High School soft - ball team has struggled as of late, but are hanging in with a record just below the even .500 mark and have shown they can play with the best after a streak of a bunch of wins not too long ago. In late February and early March, Brazos won five games in a row against schools such as Rice, Schulenburg, Snook, Spring Woods, and Hitchcock.
The Cougarettes plan to get back to their winning ways be- fore it's too late as they've shown they have the ability to do so.
They'll just need a big stretch of wins like they had a month ago to get back in playoff contention. Brazos has shown flashes, they just need to put the pieces togeth- er in time for postseason play.
