COLUMBUS — Columbus Historical Preservation Trust, Inc. (CHPT) is accepting photos for Seasons of Colorado County, a hardbound coffee table book featuring photographs highlighting everything that makes Colorado County unique, until May 1.

Colorado County residents are encouraged to submit personal photographs for publication consideration, making this photo book a true reflection of the community. All submissions that were received by April 15, were entered into a drawing for a chance to win a complimentary copy of Seasons of Colorado County.

The regular photo submission deadline is May 1. Seasons of Colorado County will be released and available for purchase in October 2024.

“We’ve had a wonderful community response to Seasons of Colorado County so far,” said CHPT President Julie Prause. “We’ve received submissions of great photos, but we need many more to fill the pages of the book. We’re looking for photos of people celebrating holidays, enjoying nature and the outdoors, or just spending time with friends and family.”

Those interested in submitting a photo may upload their photo directly to the CHPT website. Printed photos or photos on a flash drive can be dropped off at the Columbus Chamber of Commerce office during regular business hours.

Information on submitting a photo can be found at https:// www.columbushpt.com/index. php/photo-book.

In addition to submitting photos, CHPT invites those interested in furthering their support of this project to become book underwriters.

More information about underwriting opportunities can be found at https://www.columbushpt. com/index.php/photo- book or by contacting CHPT directly at [email protected] or 979-732-5135.

Proceeds from the sale of Seasons of Colorado County will support CHPT’s renovation efforts and develop programming for community events and programs.

“We ask the entire Colorado County community to get behind this important project,” said Prause. It is a big undertaking, and support in any amount is greatly appreciated. There are several different underwriting opportunities available, and we encourage everyone to learn more about becoming involved.”
