WEIMAR — The Friends of the Weimar Library will hold its annual book sale on Saturday, May 4, from 8 a.m. to noon, at the Weimar Library (1 Jackson Square). This sale is open to the public, and we invite everyone to see what we offer.
The library will have many books, puzzles and DVDs for sale for every age group.
Paperback books are 25 cents, hardcover books are $1, audio books are $2, and DVD movies are $1. All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Wei mar Public Library organization.
Thanks to Elaine Thomas’s generosity, every child who attends the sale will receive a free book of their choice.
The Friends of the Weimar Public Library is a group of volunteers dedicated to supporting the Weimar Public Library. Their purpose is to increase the number of local citizens who are interested in the library's activities, to promote reading and literacy in the community, and to raise awareness of the library's resources.
