Faith Academy had their regional track meet April 20 at Li ons Stadium in Lockhart.
The Knights competed in TAIAO which is a Private and Homeschool Christian Athletic Organization..
They competed in Division 2 which is based on numbers of athletes. Division 1 are the schools with teams with a larger number of athletes.
The Knights boys team has only five athletes.
The four runners are senior Luke Wicklein, junior Joshua Cadarelli, and phomores Jackson Dunn and Ethan Stegent.
Their only thrower is senior Noah Figueroa.
There were eight schools in Division 2.
The boys scored 111 points to win the Team Championship.
Figueroa placed first in discus at 122' 5'; and first in shot put at 40' 6' 1/, which was a personal record.
Luke Wicklein was first in the 400 at 55.75; first in the 4X400 at 3:38.
Joshua Cardarelli was first in the 100 at 12.41; first in the 200 at 25.85; first in the 4X400 at 3:38; and sixth in the long jump at 13' 4' 1/4.
Jackson Dunn was first in the 110 hurdles at 16.73; first in the 300 hurdles at 43.79; first in the 4X400 at 3:38; and first in the long jump at 18' 3' 1/4.
Ethan Stegent was first in the 3200 at 10 38; first in the 1600 at 4:53; and first in the 4X400 at 3:38.
The Lady Knights have four runners, which are senior Noelle Walker, junior Elizabeth Walker, and freshmen Kensington Walker and Sarah Grace Dodd.
They scored 90 points to place second in the Team Championship.
Noelle Walker took second in the 200 at 30.84; and third in the 400 at 71.34.
Elizabeth Walker placed first in the 100 hurdles at 20.05, which was a personal record; first in the 300 hurdles at 56.12; and first in the pole vault at 9' 0', also a peer - sonal record; first in long jump at 13' 7'; and first in triple jump at 28' 4'.
Kensington Walker was first in the 800 at 2:4, a personal record; and second in the 400 at 67.84, also a personal record.
Scarlett Grace Dodd placed second in the 3200 at 16:50.
The team will travel to Waco, April 27 to compete in the state meet at, La Vega High School in Bellmead
