SCHULENBURG — The Stanzel Museum in Schulenburg celebrated its 25th anniversary in high-flying style on April 20, at the Stanzel Museum in Schulenburg.
In recognition of its advancements, the museum had members of the Austin Radio Control Association bring out its airplanes and drones for the crowd to appreciate.
Wes Rihn and Shamus Coughlin demonstrated to the visitors various types of radio controlled flight vehicles.
It is a far cry from when Victor Stanzel carved his first balsa wood toy airplane in the early 1900s.
Hot dogs with chips and cookies were served to the hungry visitors.
