Cat Spring VFD Fire Chief Randy Reichardt, left, is taking the opportunity to load up his plate with some very tasty barbecue and fixings. The auction had many items worthy of bidding on and the crowd didn’t mind if it was a little wet and chilly outside.
The Cat Spring VFD pumper truck and other fire fighting apparatus was on display during the annual Cat Spring VFD fundraiser barbecue. The fire department serves the Cat Spring area as well as assisting other fire departments if it is called up. The fundraiser helps fund vehicles such as this and gear.
