SEALY - Austin County Re gional Special Response Team members executed arrest and search warrants on April 25 in Sealy. The operation was the result of an ongoing narcotics investigation by the Westside (HIDTA) Narcotics Task Force. Task Force Officers had been investigating reports of illegal narcotics being sold from a room at the America’s Inn located at 2100 block of Highway 36 in Sealy. Suspects James Pauley, 40, and Shawna Biscaro, 38, were arrested without incident. Methamphetamine was seized during the operation. Both defendants had active arrest warrants for Manufacture and/or Delivery of a Controlled Substance and additional charges of Possession of a Controlled Sub- stance were also filed on the de fendants at the time of their arrest. The defendants were booked into the Austin County Jail in Bellville without incident.
The Westside Narcotics Task Force covers four counties and is comprised of investigators from the Austin County Sheriff's Office, Bellville PD, Sealy PD, Hempstead PD, Waller County Sheriff’s Office, Fayette County Sheriff's Office, Colorado County Sheriff's Office, and DEA. The Austin County District Attorney's Office assisted with the investigation.
