FA Knights boys bring home the title at TAIAO D2 State Team Championship

Five boys vowed they were going to do what it took to win the TAIAO Division 2 State Team Championship and they achieved their goal. Those five boys are: Noah Figueroa (12), Luke Wicklein (12), Joshau Cardarelli (11,) Jackson Dunn (10), and Ethan Stegent (10). Their finishes and season PR's: Noah Figueroa: 1st Shot Put 40'9'; 1st Discus 130' 0' Luke Wicklein: 1st 400 54.76 Joshua Cardarelli: 1st 100 11.66; 1st 200 25.68; 4th Long Jump 16' 5' Jackson Dunn: 1st Long Jump 20' 3/4'; 1st 110 hurdles 16.32; 1st 300 hurdles 43.76 Ethan Stegent: 1st 3200 10:37; 1st 1600 4:49 First in the 4X400 Relay 3:48 Joshua Cardarelli, Ethan Ste - gent, Jackson Dunn and Luke Wick - lein.

The girls team with only four athletes, decided they weren't going to let the boys show them up. They were the runner ups in the Division 2 Team Championships just three points behind the winners. Those four girls are: Noelle Walker (12), Elizabeth Walker (11), Kensington Walker (9), and Scarlett Grace Dodd (9). Their finishes and season PR's: Noelle Walker: 2nd 200 30.83; 4th 400 70 Elizabeth Walker: 1st Pole Vault 9' 0'; 1st Triple Jump 31' 6; 1st Long Jump 14' 0'; 2nd 100 hurdles 19.50, 2nd 300 hurdles 55.68 Kensington Walker: 1st 800 2:43; 1st 400 67.64 Scarlett Grace Dodd: 2nd 3200 16:50 "The nine kids are very close.

They support each other at the meets and practices and this will always be a track season they remember. They were easy and exceptionally fun to coach. I couldn't have asked for a better season and group of kids"
