The Bellville High School baseball team struggled during the regular season with an overall record of 10-14 and 4-6 in district play, but they head to the playoffs with tons of experience and success in the past in these kind of positions. Bellville not only has athletes, they have sent guys to the pros and know how to win while developing some of the best talent in the country.
When it’s time to lock in, Bellville is usually good at doing so with game management and finding ways to scrape out wins when needed. They will face Sweeny High School in a three game series starting May 2. Sweeny had a regular season record of 21-7 and 12-0 in district. It might be a tough bout for the Brahmas, but one that is certainly winnable with how they prepare for these kind of games.
