The Flatonia High School baseball team heads into the postseason with a lot of talent and experience and a three game series against Stockdale, which will be played starting May 2.
Flatonia has hitters and good depth at all positions, but their best player is Texas A&M University baseball commit Titan Targac.
Targac is a junior and committed to A&M last year. The lefty mostly pitches and throws the ball very hard with wicked movement. When Targac is on the mound, there is always potential for a no-hit bid.
Flatonia also has players such as Uriel Manzano, Beck Zimmerman, and others. The Bulldogs have the firepower to make a nice run, but they are going to need Targac to be on his A game if this talented core is going to make noise in the playoffs.
