BELLVILLE — If you didn’t feel like part of the community at the Spring Singing Fest on April 28 in Bellville, then you weren't in Bellville. The joyous event brought together lederhosen and dirndls with Lions Club golf shirts and plenty of bier (beer), creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The fest, hosted by the Bellville Lions Club and the Texas German Society, Bluebonnet Chapter, was a lively affair that started at 11 a.m. and ended at 3 p.m. The air was filled with the delicious aroma of German food and the lively tunes of polka bands and the La Grange High School German Dancers, keeping the entertainment rolling throughout the day.
