Colorado County Fair Association Shrimp Boil never tasted so good

COLUMBUS–What is better than a bucket full of fresh-cooked shrimp? The money one pays for the delectable and abundant meal will fund scholarships for future Colorado County graduates. It almost couldn’t get much better than that. The Colorado County Fair Board hosted the event on April 27 at the fairgrounds in Columbus.

COLUMBUS—What is better than a bucket full of fresh-cooked shrimp? The money one pays for the delectable and abundant meal will fund scholarships for future Colorado County graduates. It almost couldn’t get much better than that. The Colorado County Fair Board hosted the event on April 27 at the fairgrounds in Columbus.

Members of the Junior Fair Board kept the buckets of shrimp flowing to the tables while music kept the place lively. The shrimp were huge and so were the hearts of those who came out to support this worthwhile program.

If only those Blue Bell buckets the shrimp were served in also came full of its famous ice cream.
