She is always upbeat and seeks to meet the needs of chamber members, the community at large, the visitors and tourists.

“I am very excited to have Shelley take on this role. She is a perfect office manager and keeps us all in line, entertained, and most definitely organized!" said Becky Nutt, Columbus Chamber of Commerce executive director. Another change is the addition of Justice Alleway. Alleway joins the chamber as a part-time office assistant and brings with her a plethora of knowledge that includes social media, creative writing, and marketing design.

She has a great interest in historic homes and landmarks and has already joined several tours with Columbus’s renowned docent, Ester Chandler. In another position, Alleway has been working in the archives for the Nesbitt Memorial Library over the last several months. This experience has afforded her a written and visual historic perspective. She is an outstanding addition to the team.

"We are thankful to have both ladies as part of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce as we continue to expand our vision and programs for our members, communities, and the region as a whole," said Nutt.
