PALACIOS — The Sealy High School softball team was defeated May 18 by Calallen High School in a best two out of three series as they went down by scores of 10-0 in both games at Palacios High School in Palacios.
It was still a great season for Sealy, who will more than likely be in this same spot, if not further, next year.
Head coach Brittney Whitehead instructs a solid game with players ability to hit and tons of defense in the field. One thing this team will be known for is reeling it in with their gloves.
Even though Sealy’s season came to an end, the future is very bright with Whitehead at the helm and this team possesses players that keep things very clean in the field and can also add some pop to their bats.
Sealy is a team that is good enough to be in the state tournament conversation without a doubt.
