The Stanzel Family Foundation announced the recipients of their annual Teacher-Generated Instructional Grants.
Grant requests come directly from and directly support teachers in four schools: Weimar ISD, Schulenburg ISD, St. Michael Catholic School and St. Rose of Lima Catholic School.
This year’s awards supported technology, curriculum, and supplies in the areas of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), ELAR (English Language Arts and Reading), and math and financial literacy.
The recipients for Schulenburg ISD are Kristen Graeter Holub, Melissa Adcox, Jasmeen Modi, Adina Barnett, Carol Hargadine, Macey Thompson and Cristina Moreno. The Weimar ISD recipient is Julianne Kreger. The Weimar Junior High recipient is Jill Morrison. The St. Michael Catholic School recipients are Susan King, Sharon Johnson, Nancy Koehl and Ann Barlow The Stanzel Family Foundation has been steadfast in its commitment to investing in education in Schulenburg and Weimar.
The teacher Grants, a testament to this commitment, pro- vide financial support, resourc es, and education for teachers, empowering them to be effective in the classroom and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
