This milestone marks the culmination of a journey that began in 2019, with our vision delayed by the unprecedented challenges of the pandemic. In 2023, we recommitted to this vision, recognizing the need to modernize our facilities to support community growth and service to our members.

Despite several remodels, our previous headquarters could no longer accommodate our ex- panding needs. Office spaces originally designed for two people were housing at least four employees. The new building, featuring 21,000 square feet of office space and 10,000 square feet of warehouse space, underscores our dedication to operational excellence and enhanced member service. This expansion provides ample room to grow beyond our current staff of 41 employees.

Located at 2111 North Von Minden Road, adjacent to our existing pole yard in La Grange, the new headquarters will continue to use P.O. Box 490, La Grange, TX 78945 for mail correspondence. For added convenience, we will maintain a drive-thru window for those preferring not to enter the building.

The facility complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act, featuring accessible parking close to the front door. The lobby offers a comfortable environment with two seating areas, restrooms, and a water fountain for member use.

Equipped with an emergency backup generator, the entire complex will remain operational during power outages, such as during ice storms or other severe weather events. Notably, for the first time in the cooperative's history, Fayette EC will power its headquarters facility.
