The Fayette County Fair announced its scholarship recipients for 2024.
A total of $28,450 in scholarships were presented this year. Academic Scholarships totaled $20,000 and the Queen's Contest totaled $8,450.
Academic Scholarship recipients from Fayetteville are Jordyn Hunger, Cooper Mau, Kayme Schley and Marissa Rohde.
Recipients from Flatonia are Cale Janecka, Railey Nieto and Duke Sodek.
Recipients from La Grange include: Teagan Branch, Savannah Bretz, Alivia Eindorf, Jose Estrada, Cody Krupala, Alyssa Licioni, Jill Newton, Westin Smith and Brisa Soto.
The recipient from Round Top-Carmine is Mallory Krause.
Recipients from Schulenburg include Brooke Redding, Riley Zapalac and Rilee Sanchez.
The Fayette County Fair Queen's Contest Scholarship re cipients include 2022 Queen Teagan Branch, 2022 Second runner up Addisan Wagner; 2022 participant Alivia Eindorf, 2023 Queen Harper Henneke; and 2023 participant Brisa Soo.
