Each June, Texas Cattle Women conducts a statewide beef promotion activity known as Beef for Father's Day. Claiming Father's Day as a great day to prepare beef, CattleWomen kicks off summer as a tasty grilling season.
What dad doesn't like to barbecue? As an affiliate of Texas CattleWomen, the Nav idad Valley local conducts an annual essay competition.
All area sixth-grade students were invited to participate in an essay contest celebrating Dads and Father-figures.
