ROUND TOP — Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reported early on the morning of June 6, the Fayette County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call reporting a structure fire on Hacke mack Road near Kneip Road in the Round Top area.
The Round Top-Warrenton Fire Department was notified and responded to the scene with EMS Unit Medic 2, deputies Cedar Chase, and Seth Nagel.
Upon arrival, it was reported that a house had burnt to the ground. The Round Top-Warrenton Fire Department arrived and extinguished the fire. A request was made from Precinct 2 Commissioner Luke Sternadel for equipment assistance to remove the tin from the structure, which had collapsed on the burning debris. The cause of the fire was undetermined, and there were no reported injuries.
