Weimar softball player Izzy Reeves recently earned herself a spot on the TGCA 2023-2024 Softball Legacy Team in Class 2A. Reeves was on last year’s state title team and even made the state tournament the year before as this was her senior year in ’24.
The TGCA (Texas Girls Coaches Association) picks a maximum of 20 all-stars from all conferences and these athletes are selected by a committee made up of softball member coaches of the association. The selections are made from nominations sent in by member coaches and athletes must be seniors in order to be selected.
Reeves was an essential part of Weimar softball, making it to a pair of state tournaments and taking home the crown at one in ’23.
She'll be recognized for her winning ways and ability perform on offense and defense for an elite Weimar program that knows what it takes to get it done on the big stage.
