COLUMBUS — At the Columbus Lions Club meeting on June 10, Lion Robert Fait, a Sealy Lions Club member for 40 years, spoke about what Lionism meant to him.

Fait also enjoys researching the history of baseball. He is a member of the Larry Dierker Chapter of the SABR (Society for American Baseball Research).

He gave a brief history of the 'Golden Era' of baseball in Houston, 1960-1965, six years and three teams, Buffaloes to Buffs to Colts to Astros.

Along with his presentation, he showed the Lions the different team jerseys and other baseball memorabilia. His presentation was well received by the Columbus Lions.
