COLUMBUS — Cardinals football has been dominant over the last several years under head coach Matt Schobel, who has his son Adam at quarterback and is committed to Oklahoma State University football after transferring from Baylor University.
Columbus has disciplined athletes who play hard and are well coached. This group also not only knows how to win, but wants to win at all costs. With Schobel (Adam) throwing the rock on a dime and personnel that fits the bill in all aspects, Co lumbus is a very strong candidate for not only making it to the state championship, but winning the entire thing.
Head coach Matt Schobel instills winning and discipline to his players and they love playing for him. It shows with the dis- play on the field and how much they’ve won in recent years. With Schobel at quarterback and big Schobel calling the shots, Columbus has a state championship appearance written all over them.
