The Weimar Vets hosted the Serbin Jackrabbits on June 16 at Strickland Field in Weimar Falling behind a hot hitting Jackrabbit team 12-2, the Vets scored seven runs in the bottom of the eighth to tighten the game with a 12-9 score, which proved to be the final score.
Leading the offensive attack are Josh Morgan- 2 singles, 2 BB, 2 RBI, run scored; Ryker Goehring- 2 singles, 2 RBI, BB, run scored; Alex Angerstein- single, 3 BB, run scored; Kyle Pesl- BB, HBP, run scored; Carson Pesl-BB, HBP, 2 runs scored; Mason Lampe- double, run scored; Clay Barton- run scored, HBP; Cody Barrett- single, RBI, run scored; Joe Frank- BB, run scored.
Defensive standouts include-Angerstein, C. Pesl, Lampe, Barrett, and J. Frank.
No errors were committed.
After a rough four innings, Trevor Brown pitched two innings, allowing only one earned run, striking out one.
Harrison Guthrie finished the game allowing no runs, striking out one.
