WIMBERLY — The UIL One Act Play cast and crew of Blue Stockings, under the direction of Lorrie Walla, competed at the 33rd annual Wimberly Festival on Friday and did a stellar performance landing them three honorable mentions and two all star cast awards.
Receiving Honorable Mentions were Leah Harris, Jay Schindler and Grey Gabriel.
All Star Cast awards went to Presley Stockman and Adam Baker.
This historical drama, written by Jessica Swale, is a beautiful telling of the internal and external struggles for women to receive a college degree in 1890s England.
Their preview performance is March 2, at 6:30 p.m. in the CHS auditorium.
