Fayette County Fair announces Queen and Junior Miss contestants

LA GRANGE – The Fayette County Fair announced that three exceptional young ladies will compete for the esteemed title of 2024 Fayette County Fair Queen and two more for the 2024 Fayette County Fair Junior Miss, showcasing the talent and potential of the community’s youth.

LA GRANGE — The Fayette County Fair announced that three exceptional young ladies will compete for the esteemed title of 2024 Fayette County Fair Queen and two more for the 2024 Fayette County Fair Junior Miss, showcasing the talent and potential of the community’s youth.

The Fayette County Fair Queen candidates are Emireth Cerda, a freshman at La Grange High School, representing the Francisco “Paco” Orona Scholarship and the daughter of Yeli and Hector Cer-da; Emma Haynie, a homeschool senior, representing La Grange Optimist Club and the daughter of Jennifer and Steven Haynie; and Kaylee Soto, a junior at La Grange High School, representing the Kyla Faith Memorial and the daughter of Martha and Victor Soto.

The Fayette County Fair Junior Miss candidates are Presley Lange, a seventh grader at La Grange Middle School, daughter of Shelbi Lange and Casey Lange; and A’Niah White, a sixth grader at La Grange Elementary School, daughter Ashley White and Joe Cooper.

Get ready for the fun! Ticket sales for the Fayette County Fair start on July 1. Don’t miss out on the value-packed fair season passes, exclusively sold by the queen contestants, for just $35. These passes grant you access to all four days of the fair. For the thrill-seekers, the carnival fun passes, exclusively sold by the junior miss contestants, are available for $70.

With these, you can enjoy unlimited carnival rides on all four days of the fair. Tickets will be available both in person and online.

Scholarships, in addition to amazing gifts and prizes, will be awarded to the winners on the opening evening of the fair, Thursday, Aug. 29, at the pageant featuring the crowning of the 2024 Little Miss, Little Mister, Junior Miss Fayette County, and Fayette Co Fair Queen.

Get ready for a star-studded entertainment lineup that will keep you on your toes. The fair association is thrilled to present Oscar Ayala and DJ Luna MTY, along with the electrifying performances of Aaron Watson and Rick Trevino. The fair, filled with excitement and fun, runs from Aug. 29 to Sept. 1.
