LA GRANGE — A sitting president will make a historic appearance at the historic community of La Grange on Saturday, July 13.
Czech Republic President Petr Pavel and First Lady Eva Pavlová will visit the Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center to show their support for the Texas Czech community.
President Pavel, a retired army general, has been leading the Czech Republic since March 2023.
His pro-Western stance and advocacy for active Czech membership in the European Union and NATO align with many of our own views.
The public is invited for the president’s event as he tours the Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center.
