NEW TAITON - Fayette Czech Heritage Society Queen Madelyn Karstedt of La Grange, achieved a significant mileston on June 29 in New Taiton.
Karstedt was crowned the new 2024-2025 CHS Miss Tex - as Czech-Slovak Queen, a title she earned after competing with three other queen contestants from across the state. Her victory is a testament to her dedication and the rich cultural heritage she represents. She will be attending Czech cultural events throughout the state this year and, in August 2025, will represent Texas in the Miss Czech-Slovak US pageant in Wilber, Neb.
