SCHULENBURG — The Schulenburg High School football team made a huge turnaround last year as they went from winning one game in the '22-'23 season to winning five games in the ’23-’24 season.
This was due to an incredible coaching job by head coach Luke Hobbs in his first season at the helm. Hobbs does a great job of holding his players accountable and knows how to control a game while getting the most out of his players.
The Shorthorns even made the playoffs last year and could make it again this year as this is just the beginning of the Hobbs era.
Hobbs has the coaching ability to turn this team into a powerhouse and is a wizard at developing talent.
Schulenburg football will be in great shape for years to come as long as Hobbs is in charge.
