NORTH POLE - In a news conference held last week at the North Pole, Santa Claus announced the stops on his 2024 vacation tour, and Columbus has been selected as the final stop for the third year in a row.

This unique event is not to be missed. Yes, folks, that’s right, Santa Claus IS coming to town again.

Welcome him and his friends on Saturday, July 27 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Hound Song Brewing Company at 535 Walnut St. in Columbus.

Join in on the holiday fun, open to all ages. Kids will receive a holiday coloring sheet and Christmas crayons. Admission is free. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

The joy of meeting Santa is priceless, so bring your phones or cameras to take pictures with him. Just remember, this is his vacation; he’s not going to be wearing his traditional red-and- white outfit. One of Santa's elves, serving as spokesperson, advised that “Santa will be wearing a summer vacation outfit this sum mer.”

Additionally, that day, the people who run the Santa Museum at 604 Washington St. in Columbus, will be hosting a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. at the museum to celebrate two new collections that have been added in the past year. The donors will be on hand for the celebration. The new collections include Judy Hawthorne’s 33 hand-carved and hand-painted Russian Santas and Donna Thames’s amazing collection of 17 Cowboy Santas.

For more information on the event or to add your name to the list of Santa Museum sponsors, please call 979-732-5135 or email them at santa@SantaMuseum. org.
