FLATONIA — Flatonia baseball player Titan Targac has shown Major League Baseball potential ever since he was a freshman and is currently committed to Texas A&M University baseball as an incoming senior.
The southpaw can heave it 85 to 90 miles per hour with movement and is on no-hitter watch just about every time he steps on the mound.
The Bulldogs made it to state this past year largely due to Targac’s performances on the mound. He can also hit the ball well and even came up with a clutch hit to tie the game in the last inning in the state semifinal game.
While Flatonia has a sold allaround team where credit should be distributed for their state tournament appearance, Targac is the sole leader with his command on the mound.
