SCHULENBURG FESTIVAL TO BE HELD SCHULENBURG — The Schulenburg Festival will be held Thursday, Aug. 1 through Sunday, Aug. 4 at Wolters Park in Schulenburg. The rodeo will be held Friday and Saturday. The event will include continuous live music all weekend, IBCA BBQ CASI Chili cook-offs, parade, arts & crafts, fun run, softball, basketball, golf, kiddie parade and tricycle races, and cornhole. WINCHESTER — The Winchester Area Volunteer Fire De- partment's 27th annual fish fry and auction is scheduled to be held Saturday, July 27 at St. Michael’s Pavilion in Winchester. The meal will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. The dine-in or carry-out meal will be a free-will donation. The silent auction will be available between 4 and 6 p.m. with the live auction beginning at 6 p.m. The funds support the volunteer fire department which serves Winchester and the surrounding area.
