LA GRANGE — Local students were filled with excitement as they attended Camp Invention in La Grange, all thanks to the generous support from the Stanzel Family Foundation.
This year, five exceptional students from Schulenburg and Weimar schools were honored with the Dale Kirn Memorial Scholarship.
This prestigious award recognizes their outstanding achievements and enthusiasm in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM).
With this scholarship, these talented young minds were able to explore their passions and gain invaluable experiences at the camp. It provides them with the opportunity to enhance their critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills through hands-on, project-based activities, including creative problem-solving, teamwork, discovery learning, and persistence.
Students Zoe Barnett, Levi Johnson, Eli Ulrich, Felix Picon and Easton Rosas were selected to attend Camp Intervention in La Grange.
